How to check If you received a Windows Update

First, we will hit the Windows icon in the taskbar

Next, in the start menu, click the gear icon to get to settings

Then on the Left side, click the button that says "Windows Update"

After that, click on "Update History."

After that, Windows will give you a list of all the updates that were successfully updated or failed! We can find out certain updates by their code; an example of this would be (KB5056579), which is a security update they put out.
