Transfer Ownership of Zoom Meeting

Prerequisites: In order to transfer ownership of a Zoom meeting, you must have scheduling permissions for the person you want to transfer ownership to.

How to Turn On Schedule Privilege

To allow someone to schedule Zoom meetings for you in the Zoom app or via the Google calendar add-on, you must first grant them scheduling privileges in the Zoom portal.
  1. Sign in to the Zoom Portal
  2. Select "Settings" in the left hand blade
  3. Select the "Meeting" tab
  4. Select "Other" from the submenu on the left
  5. Under the "Schedule Privilege" section, next to "Assign scheduling privilege to" select "Add"
  6. Enter the email of the person you would like to provide access to schedule for you
  7. Select "Save"

How to transfer Zoom meetings Ownership:

  1. Sign in to the Zoom Portal 
  2. Select "Meetings" from the left hand blade
  3. Select the "Edit" button for the meeting you want to edit
  4. Select the correct owner under the "Schedule For" drop down
  5. Select "Save" at the bottom of the page
